Literally, you could design an entire system visually without once referring to a technical spec (like 6-inc, 2-way which is meaningless to the average consumer). The Sonance Design Gallery was the runaway hit of the Sonance booth. It is an interactive tool that helps to define the ideal audio experience and identify the solutions that can achieve that experience. Every area of the booth had this running and dealers were very impressed. In fact, during the CEDIA show, we had over 1,500 folks sign up to get it on their device!

The premium performance models in the VX line, the James VXQ Level 8 models, feature a uniquely engineered Quadratech Tweeter and Cymatic Diffuser to create crisp details and exceptional dispersion. Each VXQ Quadratech Tweeter was designed using iterative machine learning to create the ideal experience for each speaker size, a customized feature unique to each.

The new speakers offer two mounting systems for faster installation and less time on the job.
Sonance continues to support the tried-and-true installation process for VX as single piece. The speaker is wired into the surface opening, inserted, and then secured using Sonance Roto-Lock™clamps. There is now a Two-Stage installation process which allows installers and technology professionals to execute product installation efficiently using two simple steps. Installing the VX Flex Frame into the surface opening, the installer can wire to the frame without juggling a speaker in one hand and speaker wire in the other. Once the frame is secured and the wire is connected to the terminals, the installer can pop the VX speaker module into place and lock it into place with the lever latch.
Optional Trufig style mounting system allows any VX/VXQ speaker to be a flush, tramless, installation.
VX and VXQ models can be easily finished for a flush aesthetic by leveraging the reliable Sonance TRUFIG Mounting process and VX Trimless grille. TRUFIG mounting platforms provide precision speaker placement and alignment, creating a flush grille and zero sight lines.
